Genus Dimorphocoma Family Asteraceae

Description: A small annual herb.

Leaves entire, oblanceolate.

Inflorescences with flower heads solitary, sessile, few-flowered, radiate.Ray florets female, small, white; disc florets functionally male .

Achenes compressed, obovate, sericeous-villous. Pappus double, outer row of many scabrid bristles, inner row of few linear-lanceolate scales; pappus in the sterile disc florets of few bristles only.


Distribution and occurrence: Australia, 2 species; NSW 1 species Native.
