Description: Shrub to 3 m high, sparsely to densely pubescent except for floral parts.

Leaves 3–6 cm long including a terete petiole 6–15 mm long; leaflets in 3–8 pairs, terete or linear and tightly inrolled; glands 1–3 between the lowest leaflet pairs.

Flowers 4–12 in axillary, sub-umbellate racemes near the ends of the branches; petals glabrous, 7–10 mm long, stamens 10, filaments unequal.

Pods flat, 4–8 cm long, 6–10 mm wide, straight.


Flowering: Flowers winter and spring.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows on inland plains.
