Inflorescences with racemes disarticulating readily at maturity.

Cultivated in some States and overseas as a forage plant.

A derivative of introgression of Sorghum bicolor subsp. bicolor with Sorghum halepense, very difficult to distinguish from the latter species because of the presence of rhizomes in both.
