Description: Rhizome slender, medium- to long-creeping, much branched.

Fronds usually 2–3.5 cm long and to 5 mm wide; stipe short and indistinct, lacking hairs; lamina oblanceolate to spathulate, often with irregular margins, glabrous or with short, sparse, brown septate hairs along the midvein.

Sori ± circular, relatively large and eventually coalescing into a raised mass towards the tip of the lamina.


Distribution and occurrence: Mat-forming plant growing in rock crevices in the Kosciusko region.
