Platysace linearifolia (Cav.) C.Norman APNI* 
Description: Erect or spreading shrub to usually 40–150 cm high; stems glabrous.
Leaves undivided, narrow-linear to subulate, 10–25 mm long, 0.5–1 mm wide; apex acute, mucronate; lamina glabrous; base attenuate; ± sessile.
Umbels compound, to 20 mm diam.; peduncle to c. 25 mm long; rays usually 3–4, c. 10 mm long; bracts linear, 3–5 mm long; bracteoles linear, 1–3 mm long. Petals white.
Fruit c. 2 mm long and wide, tuberculate, with broad, obtuse backs leaving only a narrow groove at the mericarp junction, ribs scarcely conspicuous.
Flowering: January–May.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest on sandy soil, north from Jervis Bay.
