Prostanthera discolor R.T.Baker APNI* 
Description: Open, erect shrub, 0.6–3 m high, strongly aromatic; branches moderately to densely covered with short, curled hairs and ± sessile glands.
Leaves with lamina lanceolate to ± oblong, 8–28 mm long, 1–5 mm wide; apex obtuse; base attenuate; margins entire; upper surface dark green, lower surface pale green, mostly glabrous, midvein often sparsely hairy below, margins ciliate, densely covered with ± sessile glands; petiole 1–3 mm long.
Flowers in a terminal botryoid; bracteoles minute, persistent, 1–2 mm long. Calyx 4–5 mm long; tube 2–2.5 mm long; upper lobe 4–5 mm long, not or slightly enlarged in fruit. Corolla 7–10 mm long, deep mauve to purple, dotted in throat. Anthers without appendage.
Flowering: September–October
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest in rocky gullies; in the Sandy Hollow-Merriwa district.
