Cycads in Central America

The cycad flora of Central America is dominated by Zamia, with over 15 species. A single species of Dioon occurs in Honduras and Nicaragua, and two Ceratozamia species extend into Belize and Guatemala, although both are clearly "drifts" from Mexico.
