TYPE: Queensland, In collibus prope Cloncurry, K. Domin, Feb 1910 (holo PR). Cited as "Nordwest - Queensland, durne Spinifex - Hugel bei Cloncurry (Domin II. 1910)."


Habit: Tree or Mallee.
Bark: Bark persistent throughout, fibrous-flaky with whitish patches ("box"), grey. Cotyledons obreniform (bilobed).
Leaves: Adult leaves disjunct, dull, grey-green or glaucous.
Flowers: Calyx calyptrate; shedding early.
Fruits: Chaff dimorphic, linear and cuboid.
Distribution: Qld.
