Habit: Tree.
Bark: Cotyledons obreniform (bilobed).
Leaves: Adult leaves disjunct, glossy, green, thick, discolorous.
Flowers: Calyx calyptrate; shedding early.
Fruits: Chaff dimorphic, linear and cuboid.
Distribution: Extra-Australia.
