Mistletoes

Other parasites on Acacia include the mistletoes. These generally are not host specific, although a few species of Amyema are confined to acacias and some may mimic a host plant. Whilst toxic, mistletoe may be attacked by the larva of some butterflies (family Lycaenidae).
