Description: L. 12.5um, Br.10.6um, Isth. 4.3um, L:Br. 1.2. This is a new varietal record for Australia. This taxon is much smaller than the type, which was not seen in this sample. The cell wall is faintly punctate and the details agree with that in Croasdale and Flint, 1988, Plate 41, Fig. 5–8. (Dingley 2001)
