Description: L 22.5–23.6um, BR 20.5um, Isth 6.8um, L:Br 1.1 (Dingley 2003) L. 21.5–22.5um, Br. 19.9–21.2um, Isth. 5.8–6.8um (fig. 10b). The cells differ from type variety in being somewhat smaller with some cells showing a finely punctate cell wall. (Dingley 2001)
State distribution in Australia, based on available literature

This taxon was recently found in NSW (Dingley 2001). They differ only in that the Victorian plants had smooth walls without any indication of pores. New record for Victoria. (Dingley 2003)
