Synonyms: Staurastrum punctulatum var. striatum West & G.S.West AlgaeBase*
Description: L. 19.8–23.2um, Br 18.1–22.0um, Isth. 7.2–8.4um, (Fig. 11b). The semicells are more distinctly rhomboid than in the type; granules are smaller and fewer in number. Measurements are slightly smaller than those quoted in the literature. (Dingley 2001)
