Description: Stems often hispid.

Phyllodes lanceolate to ± ovate, rarely narrower, convex above with midrib more prominent above than below, 5–12 mm long, 1.5–4 mm wide.

Inflorescence 1-flowered, sometimes paired flowers in the axils. Standard petal orange (fading to yellow with age).


Flowering: October–January

Distribution and occurrence: Chiefly at higher altitudes on the Southern Tablelands, with an 1843 record from Lithgow area (CT). ST; Vic., Tas.

Highland areas on hills and ridges.
