Dodonaea sinuolata subsp. sinuolata J.G.West APNI*

Description: Shrub to 3 m high.

Leaves imparipinnate, usually 2–4 cm long; lateral leaflets usually 6–14, linear, 5–15.5 mm long, 1–2 mm wide; apex broad acute to obtuse, base attenuate, margins irregularly and finely sinuate to entire, terminal leaflet shorter and lobe-like; petiole 6–13 mm long.

Flowers in 3–6-flowered axillary cymes; pedicels 4.5–10 mm long. Sepals not persistent.

Capsule 3- or rarely 4-winged, 9.5–13 mm long, 10–15 mm wide, glabrous; wings 3–5.5 mm wide, leathery.

Distribution and occurrence: in rocky sites in open forest or woodland; north from the Hunter Valley and the Warrumbungle Mtns.
