Eucalyptus camaldulensis subsp. acuta Brooker & M.W.McDonald APNI* Synonyms: Eucalyptus camaldulensis var. acuminata (Hook.) Blakely APNI*
Description: Trees with smooth, white to grey bark throughout.
Juvenile leaves large, ovate to broad-lanceolate, up to 22.5 cm long and 9 cm wide. Adult leaves lanceolate or falcate, to 29 cm long, and 4 cm wide; venation densely reticulate.
Umbellasters 7-flowered; mature buds pedicellate, pedicels 0.2–0.9 cm long; opercula tapering to an acute to almost acuminate tip.
Flowering: October–November.
Distribution and occurrence: This subspecies is mostly confined to an area north from Narrabri.
