Description: Root suckering shrub to 1 m high.

Leaves thickly textured, obovate, margins tooothed; upper surface green, becoming subglabrous, sessile glands absent.


Flowering: November–January

Distribution and occurrence: Scattered occurences in the mainland Australian Alps and Subalps, the Snowy Range, Kosciuszko National Park, Namadgi National Park, in NSW and ACT. In Victoria on Nunniong Plateau and the Baw Baws.

Commonly found in the open heath near the margin of Eucalyptus pauciflora woodlands.
