Description: Shrub to 50 cm high, stems rusty stellate-tomentose.

Leaves ovate to broad- elliptic, usually 1–2 cm long, 5–15 mm wide, margins ± crenate, often with a whitish border; upper surface ± glabrous; lower surface tomentose with ± rusty stellate hairs.

Flowers yellow, pedicellate in loose panicles. Sepals persistent in fruit. Petals absent.

Capsule and hypanthium with only short stellate hairs.
