Dodonaea camfieldii Maiden & Betche APNI*
Description: Spreading, often prostrate shrub, 0.2–1 m high.
Leaves simple, 1–3.5 cm long and 2–8 mm wide, apex acute, base decurrent, margins revolute sometimes irregularly toothed, glabrous or sparsely pubescent; sessile, the margin and midrib extending into wings on the stem.
Flowers solitary or paired; pedicels 2–4 mm long. Sepals 4 rarely 5, oblong to ovate, 2–3 mm long, not persistent. Stamens 8 rarely 10. Ovary pubescent.
Capsule 4-winged, 10–15.5 mm long, 9–12 mm wide, glabrous or sparsely pubescent; wings 1–3 mm wide, leathery.
Distribution and occurrence: Usually grows in dry sclerophyll forest mainly on Hawkesbury sandstone, from Jervis Bay to the Hawkesbury Local Government Area.
