Description: Erect shrub to 1.5 m high.

Leaves simple, oblong to oblanceolate, 3.5–6.5 cm long, 8–15 mm wide, coriaceous, secondary veins obscure, apex acute or obtuse, margin entire, glabrous; subsessile, petiole ≤ 2 mm long.

Flowers in terminal panicles; pedicels mostly 6–8 mm long. Sepals usually persistent.

Capsule 3-winged, 16–19 mm long, 14–19 mm wide, glabrous; wings 4.5–5.5 mm wide, membranous.

Distribution and occurrence: On serpentine outcrops in open eucalypt forest. Rare in N.S.W.; only from near Nowendoc.
