Description: Caespitose perennial; stems numerous, 6–30 cm long, much-branched near the base, hirsute.
Leaves and stipules in whorls of 4, narrow-ovate, curved upwards, 3–4.5 mm long, 0.8–1.2 mm wide, apex acute, upper surface dull pale green, ± hairy, lower surface with fewer hairs; petiole broad, flat.
Inflorescences 1–3-flowered; peduncles and pedicels both 0.3–0.5 mm long. Flowers c. 1.5 mm long, dull cream.
Fruit 1.3–1.6 mm long with numerous rounded, pale-capped tubercles.
Flowering: spring–summer.
Distribution and occurrence: In crevices and in gravel at foot of clefts in limestone; only recorded from Cooleman Caves district, east of Yarrangobilly.
