Common name: Large Mudwort
Limosella curdieana F.Muell. APNI* 
Description: Semi-aquatic, possibly perennial herb with closed-packed radical leaves, flowers and fruits usually on numerous short stolons.
Leaves 1.5–16 cm long, spreading when exposed, with lamina floating on surface of the water when base submerged, oblong-elliptic or broadly so, 5–25 mm long, 2–10 mm wide, base cuneate to rounded, apex ± obtuse.
Pedicels variable in length, in fruit 0.2–8 mm long. Calyx 2–3.2 mm long, without purple patches. Corolla 2.1–3.5 mm long, white. Anthers black or white partly flushed with grey, with white pollen.
Capsules ± broad-ellipsoid, 2.2–4 mm long, 1.7–3 mm diam., dark brown, with erect caducous style 0.3–0.8 mm long.
Flowering: April–November
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in clay or fine silt, on margins of rivers, streams or freshwater swamps, or in ephemeral rockpools.
