Pultenaea subternata H.B.Will. APNI*

Description: Erect shrub; stems spreading-pubescent.

Leaves opposite or in whorls of 3, ovate, flat to concave, 5–8 mm long, 2–4 mm wide, apex aristate, margins incurved to involute, concolorous or upper surface slightly darker than lower; stipules c. 2 mm long.

Inflorescences subterminal, lax, leafy; bracts absent. Flowers c. 10 mm long; pedicels 3–4 mm long; bracteoles c. 5 mm long, lacking stipules, linear- to narrow-ovate, bristly, hairy or rarely glabrous, attached at base or lower part of calyx tube. Calyx 5–7 mm long, moderately hairy; lobes acuminate. Ovary hairy only at apex.

Pod c. 6 mm long, turgid.
