Common name: White Supplejack
Ripogonum album R.Br. APNI* 
Description: Stout climber with stems to c. 15 m long, sometimes shrub-like when young; stems glabrous, usually prickly.
Leaves opposite, alternate or more usually in whorls of 3, lamina ± elliptic to ovate, 8–17 cm long, 3–5.5 cm wide, apex acute, base tapering into petiole, lamina glabrous, thick and stiff, finer reticulate veins prominent in dried leaves; petiole 5–13 mm long, mostly thick and twisted.
Inflorescence axillary, many-flowered; pedicels 2–7 mm long. Tepals 6–8 mm long, creamish. Stamens 7–9 mm long.
Berry globose, 6–15 mm diam., black; seeds 1-few.
Flowering: spring to early summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in subtrop. and warm-temp. rainforest; widespread in coastal, to the escarpment ranges.
