Flowering: October–March

Distribution and occurrence: Rare; known from near Bundanoon and Blue Mountains (CT); also recorded for Werrikimbe National Park (Northern Tablelands). Probably more common but overlooked because of its small size and possible confusion with red-orange small fungi.
