K., 14 Nov 2004 Locality: PAPUA NEW GUINEA, Morobe: Manggak-ngone, 5 km E of Wagau (06 51 07 S,146 48 54 E) Habitat: Habit/Notes: Erect tree 15 m high, bole 5 m high, d.b.h. 20 cm. Leaves dull green, midrib orange-coloured below. Flowers with perianth pale cream-coloured; ovary and style white, with stigma blue-purple. Fruits not seen. Local name: "Alden" (Buang dialect).
