Millennium Seed Banks Seed Information Database (SID) Millennium Seed Banks Seed Information Database - this database at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, contains information on seed characteristics (germination, storage requirements, weight, morphology) for MSB collections from around the world. HISCOM HISCOM - Herbarium Information Systems Committee (HISCOM) advises Australian herbaria on electronic information systems. Reporting to the Council of Heads of Australian Herbaria, HISCOM meets annually to develop cooperative strategies relating to information technology in herbaria and plant systematics.
Type Photos TypePhoto database - the Australian Type Photograph database is an index to the images of type specimens of plant names. The aim of this database is specifically to list types and other historically important collections that are not held in Australian herbaria.
