Apocissus oblonga (Benth.) Jackes & Trias-Blasi APNI* Description: Woody climbers with new growth ± grey, often glabrescent with age; tendrils simple or rarely 2-branched.
Leaves simple, petiole to 2.7 cm long, lamina oblong to oblong-ovate, to 11 cm long, to 30 mm wide, apex usually obtuse, base cordate, margins entire or shallowly serrated, upper surface ± glabrous, lower surface glabrous or some unicellular and 2-armed hairs may be present, with only scattered, raised domatia.
Inflorescences not congested, 1–3 cm long. Petals 1–1.5 mm long, greenish, pubescent.
Fruit globose, black to purplish-black, 10–12 mm diameter.
Flowering: spring–summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Restricted to SE Queensland, possibly extending into northern NSW.

Separated from A. antarctica based on the ± entire glabrous leaves with fewer domatia and unbranched tendrils.
