Description: Large woody climber, new growth sparsely scabrous or pubescent; tendrils usually several-branched, apices with adhesive discs.
Leaves pedately compound; leaflets 5, obovate to oblong-elliptic, 5–12 cm long, 3–6 cm wide, apex shortly acuminate, base cuneate with lateral leaflets often asymmetric, margins shallowly and bluntly toothed, both surfaces ± glabrous and lamina often ± succulent; petiole 5–10 cm long, petiolules 3–50 mm long.
Inflorescences open panicles, peduncles usually longer than leaves. Petals 3–4 mm long, greenish.
Fruit slightly compressed-globose, 5–7 mm diam.
Flowering: Flowers in summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Occurs north from the upper Williams R. (southern foothills of Barrington Tops). Grows in warmer rainforest,

Rarely collected fertile as it flowers in the canopy.
