Description: Spreading or scrambling shrub, 0.4–1.0 m high, young stems with short, straight or curved, ±erect hairs to 0.6 mm long.
Alternate, narrowly oblong to narrowly ovate, 3.3–5.1(–6.9) mm long, 0.7–1.2(-1.9 when flattened) mm wide, mucronate, margins strongly incurved.
Inflorescence a head-like cluster. Calyx 5.8–7.2 mm long, tube densely hairy, lobes with long, spreading hairs. Flowers orange-yellow with yellow and dark red llines at the base of the standard, keel deep red at apex. Standard petal 6.4–7.9 mm wide. Ovary with a tuft of long, appressed hairs at base of style.
Pod ovate, apex hairy.
Flowering: September–December
Distribution and occurrence: Near Woomargama, NE of Albury In open woodland.
NSW subdivisions: SWS
Differs from members of the P. procumbens species complex in the narrow leaves, 0.7–1.0(–1.6 when flattened) mm wide.
