Pultenaea woolcockiorum R.L.Barrett & Clugston APNI*

Synonyms: Pultenaea sp. Conimbla (D.E.Albrecht 15178) APNI*

Description: Erect shrub 0.3–1.5 m high, young stems with appressed hairs to 0.4 mm long.

Alternate, ±linear, 7.5–12 mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm wide, mucronate, margins strongly incurved.

Inflorescence of 5–9 solitary flowers borne in upper axils, appearing tightly clustered. Calyx 7.8–8.9 mm long, tube glabrous except near base, lobes hiary. Flowers yellow-orange with yellow and dark red llines at the base of the standard, keel maroon to red at apex. Standard petal 8.3–11.4 mm wide. Ovary with appressed hairs at base of style.

Distribution and occurrence: Only known from the Warrumba Range, Kangarooby Range, Bumbaldry and Conimbla National Park in the Central Western Slopes.

Open eucalypt forest, woodland and shrubland on slopes on pale red sandy soils.
