Genus Cephalaralia Family Araliaceae

Description: Climber or scrambling shrub, usually with scattered inconspicuous simple hairs especially on young growth and inflorescences.

Leaves 3-foliolate, petiolate; leaflets petiolulate, entire or toothed.

Flowers sessile in small pedunculate heads forming simple racemes of few-branched panicles; petals 5, imbricate in bud; stamens 5; ovary 2-locular; styles 2, becoming separate.

Fruit a succulent drupe, crowned by the persistent calyx and styles.
