Genus Cyclosorus Family Thelypteridaceae

Description: Terrestrial ferns; rhizome long-creeping, covered with scales.

Lamina 1-pinnate to 2-pinnatifid, the lower pinnae not markedly reduced in size; the veins of the undersurface often bearing fine white hairs and red to orange sessile glands; basal veins of segments always joining and running to the fork between the segments.

Sori small, indusiate.


Distribution and occurrence: World: 3 species, tropical to Stemp. regions. Australia: 1sp. (native).
