Genus Molineriella Family Poaceae

Synonyms: Periballia APNI*

Description: Erect glabrous annual; culms slender.

Ligule membranous; blade linear, short, flat. Inflorescence paniculate open, pedicellate. Spikelets ovoid; florets 2, bisexual; disarticulating above the glumes and between the lemmas. Glumes shorter than the florets, persistent, membranous, 1–3-nerved, keeled. Lemmas awnless, 5-nerved; callus very short, bearded; palea membranous, 2-nerved.
