Atriplex crassipes var. crassipes J.M.Black APNI* Description: Low spreading annual to 25 cm high, monoecious.
Leaves ovate to elliptic, to 10 mm long, margins entire; sessile or subsessile.
Flowers in axillary clusters. Fruiting bracteoles with a stipe-like base, upper portion 3-lobed with the central lobe prominent, 2–3.5 mm long. Appendages absent. An uncommon species.
