Crassula tetragona subsp. robusta (Toelken) Toelken APNI* Description: Erect perennial, usually 30–50 cm high, moderately branched.
Leaves linear to triangular to ± terete, 10–30 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, curved upwards, apex ± acute, green to bluish green, scarcely constricted towards base.
Inflorescences thyrsoid, borne above the leaves; pedicels 3–5 mm long. Flowers 5-merous. Calyx lobes c. 1 mm long. Corolla cream or white, lobes 2–3 mm long. Carpel scales transversely oblong.
Follicles dehiscing by an apical pore; seeds 6–10.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Occasionally naturalized around habitations. Native of S Afr.
