Dodonaea viscosa subsp. spatulata (Sm.) J.G.West APNI* Synonyms: Dodonaea viscosa var. arborescens (Hook.f.) Merr. & Sherff ex Sherff APNI*
Description: Leaves 6–16 mm wide, with length:breadth ratio of <7.5:1, usually obovate to spathulate or sometimes oblanceolate, sessile or tapering to petiole 1–10 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in high- rainfall areas in open forest and mallee shrubland. Shows a great amount of leaf morphological variation, with leaf characters intergrading with those of subsp. angustissima, subsp. cuneata and subsp. mucronata.
