Epacris purpurascens var. purpurascens Banks ex Sims APNI*
Description: Leaves with aristate tip to 1.4 mm long, margins entire, petiole glabrous; corolla tube shorter than to as long as sepals, 4.3–6 mm long, lobes 4.6–5 mm long; style 5.5–6.8 mm long; capsule c. 2 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll forest, scrubs and swamps on sandstone from Gosford and Sydney districts.
