Description: Annual herb to 60 cm high, glandular-pubescent.
Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets obovate to lanceolate or elliptic, usually 1.5–5 cm long, 6–15 mm wide; petiole mostly 2–5 cm long.
Petals to 10 mm long, cream or pink or purple.
Capsule 3–9 cm long, 5–10 mm wide, somewhat flattened; gynophore to 5 mm long, pedicel 2–4 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Native of N Amer.
NSW subdivisions: *NC, *NWS, *NWP
Doubtfully naturalized. Known only from a single collection (1952), possibly from a cultivated plant.
