Description: Erect shrub; stems moderately villous.

Leaves alternate, narrow-ovate, flat to concave, 10–20 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, apex aristate, margins incurved to involute, surfaces concolorous; stipules 4–6 mm long.

Inflorescences subterminal 1- or rarely 2-flowered, often on lateral short shoots; bracts absent. Flowers 10–12 mm long; pedicels c. 1 mm long; bracteoles 4–5 mm long, lacking stipules, ovate, subulate to acuminate, glabrous except for ciliate margins, attached at base of calyx tube. Calyx 4–6 mm long, glabrous, margins of lobes ciliate; lobes acuminate. Ovary hairy.

Pod c. 5 mm long, turgid.
