Utricularia beaugleholei subsp. orientalis R.W.Jobson APNI* Description: Perennial. Stolon tubers often present.
Leaves ovate or obovate-ovate; apex rounded.
Inflorescences solitary, erect; peduncle 120–320 mm long; bracts and bracteoles not gibbous at base; corolla 8–12 mm long; upper lip short, not reflexed, with faintly darker vertical nerves; lower lip narrowly obovate, with 4–7 conspicuous crowded yellow central ridges basally; spur slightly longer than the lower lip.
Capsule globose, 3–4 mm long.
Flowering: October–February
Distribution and occurrence: Distributed in the Eastern Highlands and Riverina regions of Victoria, extending onto the South Western Slopes and Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. Grows in sand and clay along seasonally wet creeks and farm dam soaks, and in nearby grasslands and pasture.

Although this subspecies is widespread, it is mostly known to occur in fragile creek habitats and may be locally threatened in many areas by agriculture. Although it is known to occur in a few conservation reserves, many collections are from wet areas of grazed paddocks, indicating that this subspecies may be robust to habitat modification.
