Abutilon malvifolium (Benth.) J.M.Black APNI*
Description: Shrub to 1.5 m high, with long simple hairs.
Leaves with lamina cordate, circular or ovate, 1–4 cm long, with 3–5 very shallow lobes, margins toothed.
Calyx c. 6 mm long, lobes broad, longer than the tube. Corolla 5 mm long.
Fruit 8–10 mm diam., green; mericarps 5–8, awned.
Flowering: summer–autumn.
Distribution and occurrence: Uncommon on heavy clay soils, frequently associated with Mitchell Grass pastures.
