Description: Small to medium-sized tree; buds and young shoots reddish brown hairy, branchlets prominently ribbed.
Leaves elliptic to oblong or ovate, usually 7–17 cm long, 3–7 cm wide, green and glossy above, white-hairy below with the veins rusty-hairy and prominently raised; petiole 10–14 mm long; stipules 1–2 mm long.
Fruit depressed-globose, 10–15 mm diam., blackish.
Distribution and occurrence: In regrowth and on the margins of subtropical rainforest north from Terania Creek; not common in N.S.W.
