Description: Prostrate to ascending ephemeral herb with stems glabrous to loosely hairy.
Leaves glabrous, lanceolate to narrow-obovate, 1–2 cm long, to 3 mm wide.
Inflorescence globose or ovoid, sometimes clustered, 0.5–1 cm long, rachis hairy. Bracts narrow, acute. Perianth segments lanceolate, 2.5–4 mm long, acute. Mostly in inland dry areas.
