Atriplex macropterocarpa (Aellen) H.Eichler APNI*
Description: Erect annual to 50 cm high, monoecious.
Leaves almost circular to obovate, to 20 mm long, margins sinuate; petiolate.
Flowers axillary, solitary or in small clusters. Fruiting bracteoles 6–8 mm long, fused below into a short tube, the upper portions partially free forming a 2-lobed terminal wing to c. 10 mm wide; appendages absent. Uncommon.
