Description: Prostrate herb, monoecious.
Leaves linear to lanceolate, to 15 mm long, margins entire; not distinctly petiolate.
Flowers axillary, solitary or in small clusters. Fruiting bracteoles truncate or irregularly lobed, 2–4 mm long; appendages over the lower third of both bracteoles.
Distribution and occurrence: in or near saline areas of the mallee regions.
