Description: Erect perennial shrub to 1 m or more high, dioecious.

Leaves ovate to oblong, to c. 25 mm long, apex obtuse, margins entire.

Inflorescences spike-like, the males in dense clusters, the females often in axillary clusters.

Fruiting bracteoles with a short stipe-like base, 6–8 mm long, almost triangular, with small teeth on the lower angles or entire.


Distribution and occurrence: Only known from Nyngan to Condobolin district.
