Baeckea latifolia (Benth.) A.R.Bean APNI*
Description: Shrub to 1.5 m high.
Leaves broad-elliptic, 6–9 mm long, 2.3–5.3 mm wide, flat, apex acute or obtuse, base cuneate, margins entire; petiole 1–1.5 mm long.
Flowers solitary, pedicels c. 3 mm long. Sepals oblong, obtuse. Corolla 6–9 mm diam.; petals circular 2.7–3 mm long. Style only slightly inset into the ovary summit.
Capsule 2.5–2.8 mm diam.; seeds not seen.
Flowering: Flowers January and February
Distribution and occurrence: Locally common in limited areas, chiefly recorded in subalpine districts in southern parts of the State, also recorded from Mt Gingera (A.C.T.).
