Description: Biennial to 75 cm high, erect, usually glabrous.
Basal leaves lyrate-pinnatisect with 5–10 pairs of lobes, petiolate; upper stem leaves pinnatifid with linear lobes.
Petals 5–7 mm long. Siliqua 3–7 cm long, 1.5–2 mm wide; pedicel curved, spreading, stout, 3–6 mm long, more than half as broad as siliqua; seeds rounded, not marginate.
Distribution and occurrence: Garden escape. Native of Eur.
