Bossiaea bombayensis K.L.McDougall APNI* Description: Multistemmed shrub 1(–1.5) m high, ± glabrous; main stems finally terete, branches flat, drak green or grey-green, winged, 2.3–4.5 mm wide, with inflorescences borne on both long and short cladodes.
Leaves reduced to scales, 0.7–1.2 mm long.
Flowers 10–11 mm long; pedicels 1.5–2.5 mm long; bracts several, distichous, 1.5–2 mm long, persistent; bracteoles obscure, caducous. Calyx 4–5 mm long. Petals golden-yellow with dark red markings on keel and occasionally wings. Ovary shortly stipitate, glabrous, 6–7(–8)-ovuled.
Pod oblong, (1.4–)2–2.6 cm long, stipe 1–2.5 mm long.
Flowering: September–October.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in a steeply incised valley of the Shoalhaven River, near Braidwood (Southern Tablelands).
